Hope things calm down for you.Michelle H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12381209099287890690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6768962281340960890.post-8090571908655043672012-03-17T14:19:33.578+00:002012-03-17T14:19:33.578+00:00I have heartburn (and always have). When I got it ...I have heartburn (and always have). When I got it once I had the band they immediately did an upper GI to make sure everything was OK. It was, and my NP said you may just be one of those people that will always have it. I do take prescription nexium (just b/c it's cheaper than over the counter)to contain it.
I do think it's obviously a huge sign for most bandsters they are too tight but for me it's just part of life.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07045822533798781579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6768962281340960890.post-89248913693506769692012-03-16T20:49:32.370+00:002012-03-16T20:49:32.370+00:00I never had heartburn once not once until a month ...I never had heartburn once not once until a month ago when all my issues began with my band. I have to say that I believe it is band related and that if the band becomes to tight it can make reflux much worse. The band is known to cause it, it can certainly get worse if you have had it before.

Please monitor this closely as an unfill is probably a remedy, however, with me being unfilled did not fix mine.

HugsKristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13156943361193851644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6768962281340960890.post-52249796326457178282012-03-16T19:39:29.903+00:002012-03-16T19:39:29.903+00:00I've had heartburn set off by all sorts preban...I've had heartburn set off by all sorts preband so don't see why it would have to be band related afterwards. I had issues for a few months a couple of years ago with wine and juices in particular.

Zantac was really helpful and you can just swallow them. None of that nasty gaviscon goop.

Hope you feel better soon.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01899213275796695472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6768962281340960890.post-26212461053128775392012-03-16T17:39:15.283+00:002012-03-16T17:39:15.283+00:00I have had two episodes with acid reflux. I now take Prilosec and have a lot less in my band than I once did in hopes it never happens again. It is no fun. Feel better.Amanda Kiskahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08035180757671095192noreply@blogger.com
